MERILL : Tri Blue Merle : 7 Months old : Bitch

MORE PHOTOS HERE (new photos added 04/11/09)
Merill is a lovely looking 7 month Tri Blue Merle bitch. She is a very small collie, and we don't think she will grow to be large girlie at all, she is very petite. Her short sorry life so far has been terrible, she is very timid and very scared and will need a very special, understanding home with lots and lots of TLC and patience. Merill was picked up as a stray in Ireland, put into pound and thankfully saved and is now at Valgrays. She has been chipped and vaccinated. She needs a very understanding home who will be able to get her to trust again, and yet she is so very sweet - she will trot around the field following you, she will make such a loyal little girl. Has been first vaccinated, wormed and microchipped.

TAMMY : Tri Colour : 9 months old : Bitch
R E S E R V E D

Well this is an ultimate mini agility prospect!!!! Tammy is a stunning looking Collie X Corgi (as original owner believes - but hey she could be a cardigan corgi)! She is a totally fab little girl, fast (leaps everywhere at top speed), goey, keen to learn and full of character. She is great with other dogs. Originally from a family with 4 young children who no longer wanted her as she nipped the kids. So possibly a home with older or collie savey children would be fine. We would like her to go to a superb mini agility home so please contact Val urgently about this dog, as we feel sure there will be a long queue for her!!! She will need puppy training (house training, recall etc). Tammy is now 1st vaccinated, chipped and spayed. Thanks to Tammy (who we named her after!) for rescuing her from the original family and for transporting her down to Valgrays where we will be looking for the 'perfect' home for this fab little dog.

BONNIE : Tri Colour : 21 months old : Bitch
R E S E R V E D

Bonnie is a Tri Colour Bitch, date of birth 01/01/08. She is vacinated and now chipped. The family sadly now do not have enough time for her, and when she was walked she has never been let off the lead. Bonnie is a nice girl, she has lots of lovely things about her but the things she does not like are FIREWORKS and she does not think much of trips to the vet; she was not impressed when I chipped her but she is now my friend. Bonnie will need a good collie savie owner to let her have some fun. She is good with cats and other dogs. She loves her head rubbed, being brushed, loves playing with water, loves her grub. She has never been allowed upstairs, is house clean - and we have lots more info from previous owner. Please call if you can offer this girl a new and fun filled life.

JIMMY : Tri Colour : 9 month ish : Dog
R E S E R V E D

WOW what a stunner Jimmy is. A super opportunity to have a wonderful dog join your household. Jimmy is bold, bursting with fun and just fab!! He is a bit thin at the moment, but thats probably due to age more than anything. He has a totally fab nature. He was found as a stray, did 'his time' and was taken on by a very caring person, who then realised that a young collie needs alot of time and attention, and so he is with us. Has been first vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. We will be looking for a first class home for this stunning boy.

LUCY : Tri Colour : 2 year old ish : Lurcher X Saluki : Bitch

%2002-11-09.jpg)
Meet Lucy .. do not cry at the sight of her - in 2/3 weeks time she will look stunning.
Lucy was found as a stray, she has done her 7 days at the pound - val reserved her when she saw her picture on the pound list. What a wonderful natured dog, infact these lurchers are all lovely. Whatever life she had before has now finally come to an end and from this day on she will be loved and cared for forever. Lucy is so out of condition at the moment that her coat colour looks grey but I think she is black tri colour with brindle legs. She has at
the moment been wormed, she will be spayed but she needs to put on some weight to undergo the operation. She is also now chipped and had some nice food. Lucy now has a lovely warm thick blanket and a coat on her to keep her warm as we dont want her to lay on anything hard as she is so boney and pressure sores can happen very quickly.
We are urgently looking for a lurcher warm coat for her please.
More assessments will follow. Estimate age max 2 years (could be younger), she is certainly no older.
