LULA is one of four dogs we have taken in after they were taken from dreadful conditions - where they had been kept in tiny cages for their lives and used for breeding.   Now Lula may not be the most beautiful looking collie, but she has the most genuine loving and gentle nature so please see past her poor photographic side and offer her the love she is so desparate for.  Lula is spayed, first vaccinated and wormed.  Please consider her as your new best most loving friend ..

LUCKY is one of four dogs we have taken in after they were taken from dreadful conditions - where they had been kept in tiny cages for their lives and used for breeding.   Lucky is castrated, first vaccinated and wormed.  Lucky is a beautiful boy who has been crated for most of his life.  We do feel however on the assessment made on him so far, he would be really suited for a family who have no other dogs, he will be loving and loyal, he is fabulous with people, children and cats but with other dogs in the same household he is protective (only if they come near to him when he is with you).  Out running and in cars he shares his life, but indoors he wants you to himself;  in time he may change when he realises he need not be so desparate for your love, and he may then accept another friend indoors but for the time being a home on his own to be loved and to worship his new owners all day long will be heaven to him ... are you the home that has enough love to give this gorgeous boy?

SALLY : if interested please email your details (as below)

SALLY :  Black & White : 9 year old  :  Bitch

Sally is a lovely lady, back in 2001 we homed her to a wonderful loving couple; but sadly the gentleman died recently and his partner can no longer keep her.  Sally would make a nice family pet as she still loves her walks, plays with her toys, she is clean indoors, vaccinated, chipped and spayed.  She is
a little on the overweight side, so really could do with an active family now to get her back in trim.  Despite her weight she is still very active and is a busy girl.

LUCY : if interested please email your details (as below)

LUCY  :  Tri Colour  :  2 year old ish : Lurcher X Saluki : Bitch

Meet Lucy .. do not cry at the sight of her - in 2/3 weeks time she will look stunning.

Lucy was found as a stray, she has done her 7 days at the pound - val reserved her when she saw her picture on the pound list.  What a wonderful natured dog, infact these lurchers are all lovely.  Whatever life she had before has now finally come to an end and from this day on she will be loved and cared for forever.  Lucy is so out of condition at the moment that her coat colour looks grey but I think she is black tri colour with brindle legs.  She has at
the moment been wormed, she will be spayed but she needs to put on some weight to undergo the operation.  She is also now chipped and had some nice food.  Lucy now has a lovely warm thick blanket and a coat on her to keep her warm as we dont want her to lay on anything hard as she is so boney and pressure sores can happen very quickly.

We are urgently looking for a lurcher warm coat for her please.

More assessments will follow.  Estimate age max 2 years (could be younger), she is certainly no older.

OH WOW!!!!    Just take a look at this stunning boyDexter is a tri colour merle pup.  He is vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated.   The previous owner could not cope anymore as she has a baby on the way.  Dexter is super with other dogs, people, children (BUT gets very playful and rather OTT, so older collie savey children only please).  This dog is going to make a super working collie for someone who wants to do serious competitive competitions.  He travels brilliantly, seems OK with cats, comes when called, loves playing with toys, is crate and housetrained.  Well 'What A Dog'.  We will be looking for an equally stunning preferrably competitive home for this dog - but be quick, we are sure he will be snapped up!
