* Rory 'Red Rory of Valgrays': Originally a stray. Rehomed 04/1999 with Wendy Barker to an agility home & is a cuddly boy! (See 'Stories' page). Rory sadly passed away December, 2008.

* Jessica 'Snomis Jessica of Valgrays': Rehomed 02/1994 with Simon Tappin to become an Advanced Agility dog. (See 'Stories' page). Jess sadly passed away Oct 2008. (See Memory page)

Ben (now Jack) (above 'before' on left & 'after' on right) (1 year old) 1993: Was thrown into a fire by previous owner (leg scars completely healed but the fur never grew back properly). Rehomed with Tina & Ian (L) to a pet & agility home.
Buttons (above 'before' on left & 'after' on right) (2 year old): 1993 She weighed just 11lbs with a girth of 9 1/2 inches. She had been beaten, starved and generally neglected being shut in a garden shed. A neighbour heard a noise and went to the rescue. After 3 months of intensive nursing & veterinary treament Buttons was rehomed to a lovely couple and lived to a very old age.
Cree 'Valgrays Marmaduke Gingerbits': Rehomed 1993 with Val became a Senior Agility Dog. Cree died in 2000,
NO PHOTO : Gill (young) (smooth blue merle) 'Seabreaze of Valgrays': Rehomed 1993 with Jean Hayes to enjoy agility. Sadly passed away 24/04/08, but had 13 wonderful years with Jean.
Jodie: Rehomed 1993 to Nancy & Andy Hudson but 'shared' with Kate and George too! Sadly passed away 2007 aged 16!
* Ziggy 'Ziggy Zoom of Valgray' (above): Rehomed 06/1993 with Di Dunkley to become an agility star. (See 'Stories' page). Ziggy sadly passed away 16/08/08 (See Memory page)

Cassie: (above) (photo on left when she was rescued and on right in her loving new home) Was in an auction! Val bought her, she had hookworm. Rehomed to an agility home.
Ky: Photo above on left when he came into rescue, on right in his lovely home. 'Midnight Ky Boy of Valgrays' Prev owner International Sheep Trialer. Ky was neglected, full of worms, totally matted. Rehomed 1992 to Jeri (V)(Cornwall). Sadly passed away 1994.

Tessa 'Tessa Tees of Valgrays': Rehomed 1988 at 1 year old with Val & became a Senior Agility Dog. Tessa died in 1999 (aged 11). | 1984:

Meg 'Motor Girl': Rehomed 1978 with Val and became a huge agility star. Meg passed away in 1994.
1977:
George (above) 'Motor Mouse': Rehomed 1977 with Val (he was Val's very first rescue dog) and became a huge agility star. Sadly George died in 1988. |
Jazz: XB Tri colour. Rehomed.
Litter (above 'before' on left & 'after' on right): Taken from mum far too early and passed to Valgrays. All were successfully rehomed. |
Meg (above 'before' on left & 'after' on right) (severe neglect case): This was the worse case of neglect Val had seen for a long long time. She came to Valgrays on Christmas Day and was so weak she could not even stand. Previous owners were banned from ever owning another dog. After 3 weeks of intensive nursing Meg was able to sit without our help. Meg made a full recovery and was rehomed in a loving pet home.
Red: Red & white. Rehomed.
Sally: Rehomed.
Sasha (Belgian Shepherd): Rehomed.
Spookie: Pup. Mainly white with black. Rehomed.
Spot: Rehomed.
Teddy 'Valgrays Teddy Tum Tum': Rehomed.
